Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25 in 1954. She was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was awarded a scholarship to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. She managed to make it with the stipend she received from her students and work part-time jobs. Lennox did not feel content with her abilities compared to others at Royal Academy and began looking for alternative paths. Lennox was a part of a group known as Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. The group broke up shortly before their appearance on I.T.V's Talent program New Faces. Between 1977 and the year 1980 she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. It was here that she met Dave Stewart and together they created their duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working with Diva in 1992, her debut solo album. It received lots of praise both by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album debuted in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox compiled her top soul jazz blues tracks from the time of her childhood. Also, in May of 2019, Lennox published Lepidoptera which is a compilation of four piano pieces that she improvised. The E.P. She released her first solo album, which was released in conjunction with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I'll Let You Go." Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is a philanthropist, activist, and singer. The Tourists had a minor popularity in the latter part of the 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to gain international recognition in the 1980s as the Eurythmics. The year 1992 was the year Lennox launched a solo career with the release of her first album Diva that produced a number of hit tracks, including Why and Walking through Broken Glass. Medusa, a 1995 studio album, features the cover versions of some popular songs such as No More I Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale.
