Amy Amy Janet JanetAubrey Plaza, born June 26th, 1984 is an actor and comedian famous for her witty sense of humor. She plays April Ludgate on "Parks and Recreation." After performing an improv comedy and sketch comedy show in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, Plaza created her first web show debut on "The Jeannie Tate Show." Later, she would play in Juddah Apatow's "Funny People" and "Scott Pilgrim in vogue. the World" later in her career. It's her birthday! Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington, Delaware, the daughter of the attorney Bernadette and the financial expert David Plaza. Their father, David Plaza is Puerto Rican, while her mother is Irish and English. Plaza got her education from an all-girls Catholic college in 2002, as well as the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University in 2006. When she was a senior in high school she was director of the Wilmington Drama League and a participant in its student body. Plaza is just entering her sophomore year at college at the time of her stroke she was diagnosed with an expressive aphasia along with a paralysis period. She has since fully healed.
